Sharon H. Ornstein, DDS, PA
Dr. Sharon H. Ornstein graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1986 with honors. She received her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Howard University Hospital, DC General Hospital, and the V.A.M.C. in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ornstein served for 10 years as attending surgeon and eventually Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Kingston Regional Hospitals in Jamaica, West Indies, as well as maintaining a full scope private practice.
Dr. Ornstein has special interests and extensive experience in the area of reconstruction of the jaws and facial bones using bone grafting, bone repositioning, and dental implants.
Dr. Ornstein is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is an active member of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Ornstein moved to the DFW Metroplex in 2000 and maintains hospital privileges at three area hospitals: Las Colinas Medical Center, RHD Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.
